Snowmelt
With Ebeco Snowmelt you can easily keep garage ramps, entrances, ramps, loading bays and stairs in public or private environments free of ice and snow. The risk of slipping is minimised with no need to shovel, grit or salt. Better accessibility and better safety. With the right control, it is also an economical installation.
Elastic output
Ebeco snow melting mat is a unique new elastic heating cable mat consisting of heating cable fixed onto rubber bands. Because the mat is elastic, it can be pulled out to increase the cc distance and size and so reduce the output. This unique design reduces installation time by about 75% compared with conventional fitting on strap. In its original form, the output is 300 W/m². If mat is stretched 25%, the output is 240 W/m². An even lower output (c. 200 W/m²) can be achieved by stretching the mat out even further. The heating cable has built-in return cable, so there is only one end to connect.
Installation
This heating cable mat is designed to be laid in a sand bed under asphalt or stone. It can also be embedded in concrete. The mat can also be laid in an aggregate-free layer over a concrete slab. The mat should be laid at least 30 mm deep.
