Our Privacy Policy

We are concerned about protecting your privacy and personal integrity, and want you to feel confident we will be processing your personal data is in a proper and correct manner. This privacy policy describes how Ebeco AB collects, processes and uses your personal data, along with your related rights in connection with this.

The purpose of our policy is to ensure that Ebeco processes personal data in accordance the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The policy encompasses all processing where personal data is being dealt with.

The personal data we process

It may arise that Ebeco AB processes the following personal data:

• Name
• Address
• Telephone number
• E-mail address
• Photograph
• User name
• Password
• IP address, browser type and other technical information

In addition to the above, personal data that you have chosen to provide is also processed, for example via e-mail contact, registration of the guarantee or the use of our Garantera web-based service.

Data such as your device ID (MAC address) and network name will also be processed when using the Ebeco Connect app.

We use personal data in order to be able to maintain business relationships, provide you access to our web-based services, for marketing purposes, provide and manage guarantees for our products and to communicate with you.

Collection, processing, and retention of personal data

Only individuals whose work is dependent upon access to the personal data have access to it. Personal data is not shared informally or forwarded on to any external party not affiliated with us to in order support our IT systems.

Ebeco AB does not store the personal data longer than is legally permissible or reasonable for the purpose it has been obtained, or until someone manually deletes themselves from our services, registry or newsletter list.

Security

Your personal data is protected from unauthorised persons gaining access, as well as against accidental deletion, by means of our IT security systems. We regularly review our systems and ensure that your information has adequate protection.

Your rights

You are entitled to know what personal data we have and are processing about you, and may request a copy. You also have the right to have incorrect information corrected, and in certain instances, you may also request that data concerning you be deleted. Please note that in some instances there are laws take precedence over the GDPR, which means that in some cases, the deletion of personal data may not be possible.

About cookies

A cookie is a small text file that websites you visit ask to save on your computer. Cookies are used on www.ebeco.com to give visitors access to various functions. It is possible to use the information in a cookie to follow a user's surfing.

Delete account from the Ebeco Connect app

Follow these steps to delete the account:

1. Open the Ebeco Connect app
2. Press "Support" at the bottom of the menu
3. Press "App Settings"
4. Press "Account"
5. Press "Delete account"
6. Press "Yes, delete account"
7. Done

All data is deleted and no personal information is saved.
